About the Rotary Club of South Gwinnett County
The South Gwinnett Rotary Club was chartered on September 17, 1982. We are a medium-size club, with about 35 members—small enough for all of our members to enjoy friendships with each other, but large enough to undertake significant service projects. Our meetings are informal and fun, filled with good humor and fellowship.
Among Rotary clubs in our district, we have always been a leader and have received several medium size Club of the Year award. Our membership includes a past District Governor and other leaders at the district level.
About Rotary International
The main objective of Rotary International is service—in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians development community service projects that address any of today's most critical issues such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. We also support educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals.
